Chelan County andWashington Department of Ecology’s (Ecology) Office of Columbia River (OCR) co-convened the Icicle Work Group (IWG) in December 2012 to find collaborative solutions for water management within the Icicle Creek Watershed. The Work Group has developed a water resource management strategy (Icicle Strategy) consisting of a comprehensivelist of projectsthat address Icicle Creek issues and concerns identified in theirGuiding Principles.
The IWG is made up of a diverse set of stakeholders representing local, state and federal agencies, tribes, irrigation and agricultural interests and environmental organizations. The IWG follows a set ofoperating proceduresthat define its purpose, members and the ultimate goals of this effort.
