SBA offers disaster assistance to businesses, private nonprofits and residents affected by December storm
The U.S. Small Business Administration announced the availability of low-interest federal disaster loans to Washington businesses, private nonprofits and residents to offset physical and economic losses from the December 2025 Severe Winter Storms. The deadline to return physical damage applications is April 27. The deadline to return economic injury applications is Nov. 24.
Earl Crowe, who has been with the Chelan County Coroner's Office for 13 years, took the helm of the office on Jan. 1, when he was appointed to finish the term of the retiring coroner. An $8.7 million construction project that will update the aging and failing plumbing in the Law & Justice Building is underway. The project is expected to take up to 12 months.
