SBA offers disaster assistance to businesses, private nonprofits and residents affected by December storm
The U.S. Small Business Administration announced the availability of low-interest federal disaster loans to Washington businesses, private nonprofits and residents to offset physical and economic losses from the December 2025 Severe Winter Storms. The deadline to return physical damage applications is April 27. The deadline to return economic injury applications is Nov. 24.

An $8.7 million construction project that will update the aging and failing plumbing in the Law & Justice Building is underway. The project is expected to take up to 12 months.
Community Development is accepting proposed map amendments to the county’s Comprehensive Plan for 2026 processing. Proposed map amendments are due to the department by 5 p.m. on March 2.
