Water Resources Management
Chelan County Natural Resources Department works with State Department of Ecology and other partners on water quality and water quantity issues throughout the county. Water resource issues are addressed in all four watershed planning processes (Lake Chelan, Entiat, Wenatchee and Stemilt-Squilchuck). CCNRD works to implement the water resource recommendations in those plans as well as conduct necessary water quality and water quantity (stream flow) monitoring studies to fill critical data gaps.
