Cottonwood Flats Riparian Planting Project:

Chelan County Natural Resource Department solicits an Invitation to Bid for riparian planting work on the Entiat River (River Miles 17.5 and 17.8). The Work includes plant propagation, delivery and installation of 5,312 plantings in the designated planting areas on left and right banks of Entiat River as identified on the Contract Plans.  Plant collection sources supporting propagation shall be limited to the Entiat, Methow, and Wenatchee river basins.  Performance Period for plant installation is October 1 – November 15, 2020.Engineers Estimate is $40,000.

IMPORTANT: For Bidders who wish to see the site please contact Chelan County Project Manager Allison Lutes PRIOR to visiting site at  509-679-7095.  Project Site Access crosses Private Property, the Landowner has requested notification be given before site visits.  Access without notification may jeopardize Construction Access.

In light of the Governor’s 20-25 Stay Home – Stay Healthy Proclamation an optional conference call with representatives from the CONTRACTING AGENCY will be held in-lieu of an on-site meeting on Thursday June 11 at 9:00 A.M.  Attendees shall dial in to (360) 407-3780 and use the Pin Code 148180# when prompted.

Sealed bids including the complete Bid Package for the Cottonwood Flats Restoration will be received by Chelan County at the Board of County Commissioners Office, Chelan County Administration Building, 400 Douglas Street, Wenatchee, Washington until Monday, June 22, 2020 at 11:00 A.M., at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Sealed bids must be received by the Clerk of the Board of Commissioners in a sealed envelope clearly marked:

Mill Creek Fish Passage Project:

Chelan County Natural Resource Department solicits an Invitation to Bid for culvert removal and replacement. This Contract provides for the improvement of 115 feet of Mill Creek at the location where it flows under Mountain Home Ranch Road by replacing the existing concrete box culvert with an interior span rise high profile, arch structural plate culvert and realignment of the stream channel. The Work includes temporary stream diversion, erosion control, dewatering, clearing, structure excavation, removal of the existing culvert, channel grading, installation of footings, procurement and installation of the new culvert, construction of headwalls and wingwalls, backfill and compaction, base course placement and compaction, guardrail installation, asphalt paving, pavement marking, seeding, traffic control and other work.  The in-water work window for this project is July 15, 2020 – September 30, 2020.  Engineers Estimate for all Work is $490-$510k.

The project site is located within Chelan County roadway on Mountain Home Road approximately ¼ south of its intersection with Highway 97, outside of Peshastin, Wa and is open for independent inspection by potential bidders

Sealed bids must be received by the Clerk of the Board of Commissioners in a sealed envelope clearly marked:
