2026 Entiat Planting Project

The Chelan County Natural Resource Department solicits an Invitation to Bid for the 2026 Entiat Planting Project, Chelan County, WA. This contract provides for the sorting, distribution and installation of 7,936 plants of various sizes across two sites within the Entiat River Drainage as well as the procurement, delivery and installation of woodchip mulch around installed plants, and all other work in accordance with the Contract Documents and the 2026 Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge and Municipal Construction, State of Washington, Department of Transportation, and addenda thereto.

The project sites are referred to as Areas B (road mile 18.5) and Area C (road mile 16.5), both of which are accessed via Entiat River Road. All onsite work shall occur within a two-week period between the dates of October 1st and November 15th, 2026. The estimated range of probable cost is $51,000 - $54,000 excluding WSST. A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project, but each project site is available for inspection at any time.

Sealed bids will be received by Chelan County at the Board of County Commissioners Chambers, Chelan County Administration Building, 400 Douglas Street, Suite 201, Wenatchee, Washington until Monday, March 23, 2026 at 11:00 AM PDT for the Chelan County Natural Resources Project, “2026 Entiat Planting Project.” Hard Copies of the Project Manual and Bid Package are available upon request. Cashmere Boat Ramp Project

The Chelan County Natural Resource Department solicits an Invitation to Bid for the Cashmere Boat Ramp Project in Chelan County, WA. This contract provides for the excavation of approximately 950 cubic-yards (cy) of flood deposited streambed material on the Wenatchee River near the River Front Park Boat Ramp in Cashmere, WA. This work includes, but is not limited to installation, maintenance and restoration of temporary construction access as needed to complete the project, protect asphalt and protect the boat ramp; temporary traffic control as needed to safely deliver, handle, and stage equipment and materials; channel excavation, placement and contouring of streambed substrate within the project area and placement of streambed boulders as shown on the plans; in-water work area isolation and temporary erosion and sediment control; protection of sensitive areas; revegetation activities as directed by the Contracting Agency; construction surveying required to perform the aforementioned tasks; and all other work, all in accordance with the Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the WSDOT Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge and Municipal Construction and addenda thereto.

All in-water work must be completed when in-stream flows are below 3,200 cubic-feet per second (cfs), and no later than April 30, 2026. If flows do not allow for completion of work within the above referenced timeframe, the Contractor will conduct work as soon as conditions allow, with authorization from the Contracting Agency and in compliance with the project permits. The estimated range of probable cost is $30,000-$37,000 excluding WSST.

An Optional Pre-Bid site walk through with representatives from the CONTRACTING AGENCY will be held on March 19, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the project site. The site is located at the Cashmere Riverside Park, 201 Riverside Drive, Cashmere, WA 98815. This project site is located on public property and is open to inspection at any time. A minimum of one representative from each Prime Contractor that intends to submit a bid is encouraged to attend.
