The Peshastin Bridge, located off of Highway 2, will temporarily close beginning June 17 so a county contractor can make some repairs to the bridge. The detour route is via North Road, Chumstick Highway and Highway 2.
On Feb. 29, Chelan County Public Works Director/County Engineer Eric Pierson and County Commissioner Tiffany Gering met with the Manson community to discuss potential options to traffic and parking issues in the downtown Manson area. The presentation is available for download.
Burch Mountain Road near Wenatchee is among those roads closed annually to avoid damages to the roadway that come with freezing and thawing. The road is closed Feb. 15 to April 1.

Beginning April 8, a contractor for Chelan County Public Works will begin rehabilitating a portion of Wenatchee Heights Road, from milepost 1.32 (near Wheeler Hill Road) to milepost 2.10 (near Edgemont Drive).
On Oct. 19, construction will begin on a portion of Yaksum Canyon Road that is failing. The road is south of Cashmere, and work is expected to take about two weeks.
Join Chelan County Public Works on Oct. 12 for a meeting about repairs coming in 2024 to the Peshastin Bridge. The construction is expected to cause a temporary closure of the bridge.
