Lodging Tax Advisory Committee

The Chelan County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee makes recommendations to the Commissioners regarding the allocation of the lodging tax revenue generated in the unincorporated portions of the County. This revenue is used to promote *tourism and tourism-related facilities through reimbursable grants to non-profits or municipalities as specified in RCW 67.28.1816

*A "tourist" is defined as a person who travels for business or pleasure at least 50 miles (one way) from the person's place of residence or business and stays overnight in paid accommodations. A tourist may also travel to another country or state outside of their place of residence or business.

The vision of LTAC is to elevate Chelan County into the premier destination for travelers in the Pacific Northwest. Its mission is to enhance, protect and promote Chelan County’s tourism industry for generations to come.
