District Court

Zoom Appearances

Chelan County District Court allows some hearings to be heard via remote means, allowing you to appear via Zoom.

Unless you have specifically been ordered to appear in person, you may appear for court via Zoom without prior approval for the following hearing types: Arraignment, Pre-Trial, Readiness hearing, and Case Dispositions (unless Domestic Violence related).

You may also be allowed to appear for court for the following hearing types, however pre-approval from the court must be obtained prior to the hearing: Sentence Compliance Hearings, Preliminary Hearings, Warrant Quash Hearings, Infractions, and Disposition hearings on Domestic Violence related charges.

Evidentiary hearings such as Trial, Motions, and Conditions of Release hearings require in person appearance unless agreed arrangements have been made with the court by your attorney.

All Civil matters require in person appearance.

If you are allowed to appear by Zoom for your hearing, you MUST contact the court by 12:00 noon the day PRIOR to your hearing and provide the court with a valid phone number to be reached at when your case is called during court session.

The information used to log in to Zoom varies depending on what court room you are appearing in. It is your responsibility to verify you are using the proper sign in information for your hearing.

The instructions for appearing via Zoom can be found here:
