Join us in May to learn about comprehensive planning process
We want to know your vision of the future of Chelan County.
Join us for one of three open house events in May to learn about the Chelan County Comprehensive Plan, which is being updated now.
These events are an opportunity to not only learn about the Comprehensive Plan but also share your thoughts on the future of Chelan County. Come talk with county staff and project consultants, ask questions and provide feedback. Families and children are welcome to attend.
The events are:
Chelan: 5:30 p.m. on May 19 at Chelan High School, 215 Webster Ave.
Leavenworth: 5:30 p.m. on May 20 at the Chelan County Fire District No. 3 fire hall, 228 Chumstick Highway.
Wenatchee: 5:30 p.m. on May 21 at Mission View Elementary School, 60 Terminal Ave.
The Comprehensive Plan is Chelan County’s 20-year guiding document for managing growth and shaping the county’s future through 2046. It outlines the vision, goals and policies that will help us address critical issues, from housing and transportation to economic development and public services. This plan is a requirement under the state’s Growth Management Act, and the next review and update must be completed by June 30, 2026.
