Community Development is holding public meetings throughout the county during the week of April 20 to present the draft 2026-2046 Chelan County Comprehensive Plan update.
The meetings are:
April 20: 6 to 8 p.m. at Leavenworth Fire Hall, 228 Chumstick Highway
April 21: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Lake Chelan Community Center, 103 Bighorn Way
April 23: 6 to 8 p.m. at Mission View Elementary School, 60 Terminal Ave. in Wenatchee
The meetings will include a brief presentation by staff and time for questions and answers.

The Comprehensive Plan is Chelan County’s 20-year guiding document for managing growth and shaping the County’s future through 2046. It outlines the vision, goals and policies that will help us address critical issues, from housing and transportation to economic development and public services. This plan is a requirement under the state’s Growth Management Act, and the next review and update must be completed by the end of the year.
