Prosecuting Attorney
Division of Child Support
Subject to the control of the elected Prosecuting Attorney, this division is the court arm for the Division of Child Support/DCS in providing certain services under Title IV-D of the Social Security Act. https://www.dshs.wa.gov/esa/division-child-support/establishing-parentage
We establish paternity, enforce child support locally and interstate, and modify Child Support Orders in Chelan and Douglas counties. We also intervene in private cases to protect the taxpayers' interest when that is appropriate.
The role of this office is to represent the State of Washington and the best interests of children with respect to paternity.
Office Hours 8:30 AM - 12:00 (noon) and 1:00 PM - 5:00PM, Direct Office Phone Number (509)667-6200.
