Hearing is for draft updates to plan

On Oct. 14, commissioners took comments on portions of the draft update to the Chelan County Comprehensive Plan, including the proposed Malaga UGA, the draft Stehekin Community Plan and the Climate Resiliency Assessment.  Commissioners closed the public comment period on those portions of the plan and continued the hearing to 10:15 a.m. on Nov. 10.

In addition, a public hearing will be held at 1 p.m. on Nov. 10 to gather comments on the Transportation Element of the comp plan as well as citizen-initiated map amendment proposals to the comp plan.

People can join the commissioners either in-person at 400 Douglas St. in Wenatchee or via Zoom.
