Our office keeps records of all real estate sales that are recorded and uses the sale data from closed “arm’s length” transactions to help us determine the assessed values for a neighborhood through careful analyses of the sale prices. Sales that occur in 2016 are used to set the January 1, 2017 assessments which are used to calculate taxes due in 2018. All of the sale data is available on our website via these three options.
Monthly Sales Report: Since June 2012 we have been posting Monthly Sales Reports in an Excel spreadsheet format (.xls files) to the Assessor’s ftp site. These spreadsheets can be downloaded for personal use by clicking hereand contain all of the pertinent sale data from our assessor records.
Sales Search: You can also search for sales using our online database. This option allows you to search the sale data by the criteria you are interested in researching. To access our Sales Search, click here. If this is your first time using our sales search you can follow these step by step instructions:

Enter your sales criteria and click on the “Search” button at the bottom of the page. Based on your search criteria a results list will show on screen with the basic property information, sale date and sale price. Click the "Details" or "Map" link to view more information about the property or click the checkbox next to each property and click "View Selected on Map" to view the properties on a single map.
Chelan County GIS map: Sale information from 2014 to within the past week is available through our GIS sale layer by clickinghere.
