Upcoming holiday office, facility closures
All Chelan County offices will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 25, and Thursday, Jan. 1, for the holidays.
Over the holidays, some county offices will have limited hours. If you are visiting a county office from Dec. 23 through Jan. 2, you should call ahead to make sure the office is open to the public. Some offices will be open but will be doing business over the phone. The following offices will have different hours over the holidays:
- Board of County Commissioners: The board will be in session on Monday, Dec. 22, and then will have a consent-only agenda, with commissioners calling in, on Monday, Dec. 29. The board will return to its normal calendar Jan. 5-6. To follow along via Zoom, visit the Commissioners webpage.
- Commissioners Office: The office will be open to the public from 8 a.m. to noon Dec. 24, Dec. 26 and the week of Dec. 29. It is closed on Christmas and New Year's.
- Public Works: The office will be closed to the public Dec. 24-25 and then Jan. 1.
- Community Development: The office will be closed to the public beginning at noon on Dec. 24 and through Dec. 26. The office also will close at noon to the public on Dec. 31 and will be closed on Jan. 1.
- Assessor's Office: The office will close at noon on Dec. 24.
In addition, here are the upcoming holiday closures for our Solid Waste program:
- Moderate Risk Waste Facility: Closes at noon on Dec. 24 and is closed on Dec. 25. For New Year's, closes at noon on Dec. 31 and is closed on Jan. 1.
- Dryden Transfer Station: Closes at noon on Dec. 24 and is closed on Dec. 25. For New Year's, closes at noon on Dec. 31 and is closed on Jan. 1.
- Chelan Transfer Station: Closed on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
