Short-term Rental Moratorium - Resolution 2020-104, Continuation of Moratorium (additional hearing scheduled 02/23/2021)

Effective August 25, 2020, the Board of County Commissioners enacted a moratorium to take effect immediately in the interest of good government and the public health, safety, and welfare. Resolution 2020-86 - A resolution enacting a moratorium on the designation, permitting, construction, development, expansion, remodeling, creation, locating, and siting of short term rental uses, structures, residences, businesses, lots, zones, buildings.  

On October 6, 2020, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing to consider the status of the moratorium.  After public testimony was taken, the Board passed Resolution 2020-104 continuing the Moratorium, with some edits to the original resolution.  The Board has scheduled a hearing on the moratorium to occur on February 23, 2021 at 10:15 AM, during their regularly scheduled meeting.
