Recruiting Board Member for Chelan County Commissioner District 1

The Chelan County Noxious Weed Control Board has an open board position for a voting member. The position will be filled by a person residing in Commissioner District 1, which includes Wenatchee and Malaga.

Each voting member of the board serves a term of four years. Interested parties should be engaged in the primary production of agricultural products (see RCW 17.10.050). Regular board meetings are held quarterly, on the second Tuesday of the month. Duties of the board include adopting rules and regulations, adopting the County noxious weed list and providing guidance for the program.
