Public Hearing: Proposed county code revision to franchise agreements
A public hearing regarding a proposed resolution for the revision of Chelan County Code 8.25.070 Franchises will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2, by the Board of County Commissioners at its office at 400 Douglas St. in Wenatchee.
The proposed resolution amends section 8.25.070 of the Chelan County Code, adding a subsection requiring franchise compensation by franchisees utilizing the county rights-of-way. A draft of the code that is being considered, along with the proposed resolution, will be available in the commissioners agenda packet on Nov. 27.
