People impacted by the Little Giant Fire are invited to a post-fire recovery community meeting on Oct. 14 in Entiat.
The meeting is 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Entiat Fire Station, 2200 Entiat Way. Attend in-person or via Zoom.
Attending will be the organizations coordinating support for landowners and landscape recovery efforts:
- DNR Geologic Survey: Post-fire debris flow risk
- US Forest Service: Burned Area Emergency Response, or BAER report
- National Weather Service: Forecasts and alerts for the burn area
- Cascadia Conservation District: Resources for landowners
- Chelan County Emergency Management: risks, emergency alerts and resources
- Okanogan Long-Term Recovery: Resources for rebuilding, insurance and case management
