FloodRecovery.Wa.Gov
Gov. Bob Ferguson recently announced the launch of a new website to serve as a main depot for resources to help Washingtonians affected by the December flooding.
The new website — floodrecovery.wa.gov — provides information about cash and food assistance, relocation of mobile homes and livestock, unemployment benefits, and replacement of medications and medical equipment. It also includes tips for documenting and reporting flood damage, avoiding scams and hiring contractors.
An online form is available on the Chelan County Emergency Management website to help residents report damage from the windstorm and flooding that occurred on our local river systems on Dec. 10. The damage assessment form is for both residents ad businesses. It is available in English and Spanish and will remain open through Jan. 15.
