Public Notice – Determination of Non-Significance (DNS)

Non-Project: Chelan County Solid Waste Management Plan

This notice is to inform the public of a non-project plan that has been determined as “Does Not Have Probable Significant Adverse Impact on the Environment,” or a Determination of Non-Significance.

The Chelan County Solid Waste Management Plan provides current conditions and future planning for an adequate solid waste system in Chelan County. Included in the plan are collection services, disposal programs, reducing waste education, recycling programs, hazardous waste disposal and miscellaneous waste.

Public questions/comments relating to this determination can be sent to the Chelan County Public Works by 5 p.m. on Jan. 9, 2023. Please address to: Chelan County Public Works, Solid Waste, 316 Washington St., Wenatchee, WA, 98801. Or email comments to brenda.blanchfield@co.chelan.wa.us.
