Request for Qualifications for engineering service
Chelan County seeks statements of qualifications, or RFQs, for engineering services to assist with its Expo Center Domestic Water Project. The project will include reviewing existing domestic, irrigation and sewer plans, on-site surveys and testing, discussions with staff, and other necessary tasks to present a clear map of our current systems and then to make recommendations for improvements.
The services to be provided will include reviewing the following problems:
Low flow/low pressure at the RV park
Desire to separate domestic lines (one to RV park and one to Expo Center), and then subdivide Expo Center so fire suppression is separate from park operations
Updated fire suppression system for the pavilion
Investigate and map leaks below grade in RV park
Confirm the structural integrity of water tanks
Well House: Confirm the integrity and sufficiency of current equipment and water routing and investigate and map leaks below grade
From this review, the engineer would present findings and recommendations for improvements.
Responses should include:
The firm’s legal name, address and telephone number
The principals of the firm and their experience and qualifications
The experience and qualifications of staff to be assigned to the project
A description of the firm’s prior experience, including any similar projects
To be considered, interested parties must submit their qualifications and a Letter of Interest to the address below before 10 a.m. (PDT) on Monday, July 6, 2026.
