Public safety testing March 25 for corrections candidates
Chelan County on March 25 will sponsor a Public Safety Testing event for people interested in working in corrections.
Public safety testing consists of both written and physical ability tests; it is typically the first step a public safety agency requires in its hiring process.
To participate, interested candidates must first pre-register at www.publicsafetytesting.com. The website supports public safety agencies around the state in the hiring of police officers, firefighters, corrections officers and 911 dispatchers.
Details about the March 25 testing event include:
Where: Chelan County Administration Building, 400 Douglas St. in Wenatchee. Follow the signs directing you to the testing room.
When: Check-in is 8:30 a.m. The written test is in the morning and the physical ability test is in the afternoon.
