Ohme Gardens opening day delayed to April 16
Due to snowy weather events this week, Ohme Gardens is postponing its 2022 opening day until Saturday.
Typically, the gardens are open annually on April 15. Instead, the gardens will open for the season on Saturday, April 16. The gardens are open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily from mid-April through mid-October.
Samantha Segaline, interim garden director, said the weather has caused some delays with last-minute preparations and the trails have become slick with the cycles of snowing and melting the area experienced this week.
“We will delay opening by a day so visitors get the most out of their garden entry fee,” Segaline said. “The gift shop will be open Friday for the sale of season passes and merchandise.”
