County assessor to host four spring community meetings

Chelan County Assessor Wes Cornelius invites property owners and all interested parties to attend one of four community meetings scheduled this spring throughout the county.

Cornelius and his staff will talk about how the assessment process works, how the office uses sales data to do its market sales analysis, and how they break out neighborhoods for revaluation purposes. The meetings will include a short introduction and then a description of trends the Assessor's Office is seeing in the real estate market and how those trends may affect 2025 assessed values for 2026 taxes. There will also be time for the public to ask questions.
