Burch Mountain Road seasonal closure in place
The seasonal closure on Burch Mountain Road in Wenatchee began Feb. 17. The temporary closure is for the dirt portion of the roadway, which is at the gate. During the winter, recurring periods of freezing and thawing can damage unpaved portions of county roads. The county temporarily closes three roads annually to general traffic; also closed are Horse Lake Road in Wenatchee and Oklahoma Gulch Road near Entiat. The three roads reopen on April 1.
