WENATCHEE -- Burch Mountain and Horse Lake roads will re-open on Friday, March 31.
Portions of the two roads are closed to traffic every winter to prevent road damages from seasonal weather conditions, including freezing and thawing.
At this time, seasonal weight restrictions remain on several roads throughout Chelan County. The County will not be lifting any weight restrictions this week; however, road crews next week will be monitoring the roads and re-evaluating whether weight restrictions may be lifted on some of those roads impacted.
Companies that need to apply for a permit to haul freight on weight-restricted roads are reminded to get applications in by 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Permits needed for a Monday haul must be in by 3 p.m. Thursday for consideration for the following week.
