Everbridge Emergency Alerts

Chelan County uses Everbridge Emergency Alert System to send emergency alerts via text, email or voicemail. The system is intended to be used for emergency alerts as well as non-emergency incidents that have significant impacts on residents.

Emergency alerts could be related to specific hazards that require some kind of action to be taken such as evacuation, shelter in place, boil water orders, etc. Non-emergency alerts could include significant transportation problems with prolonged impacts or significant ongoing police or fire activity. This list is not meant to be all-inclusive, rather it demonstrates that this system will not be used to share routine information.

To get started, create an account with Everbridge Emergency Alert Program.

Or download the Everbridge mobile app directly to your cell phone.

Please provide any addresses where you would like to receive nearby alerts (home, work, school, etc.) and your preferred methods of contact. An address is required to receive alerts.

This service is free of charge, however, standard text messaging rates and other charges may apply.

Everbridge is used by our neighboring counties, which creates uniformity in the region. Emergency alerts are immediately translated into Spanish for Spanish-speaking users.

The Chelan County Emergency Incidents Map is an in-house, GIS application developed by Chelan County. It is updated during an emergency, especially during wildfire season. Residents can go to the online site and type in their addresses to see if they are under evacuation orders. The Emergency Incidents Map will not send you notices and relies on citizens to initiate its use.
