Accounting

The Accounting Department is responsible for the financial records of the county, junior taxing district, and assessment districts. This involves keeping accurate records for 500 accounts. Investments are made for various districts at their request for the best possible rates. Every month a financial statement is mailed to each district with a list of the district's invested money. The Accounting Department staff is available to answer any questions about the financial records of any district within Chelan County.
