County Roads Currently Under Restriction
Weight Restricted Roads
Weight restrictions on Chelan County roads have been lifted for the season. Reducing the impact of heavy vehicles on roads when they are freezing and thawing from weather conditions make a significant difference in the wear and tear on a road and decreases life cycle costs. Chelan County thanks travelers who complied with the weight restrictions and appreciates your consideration.
Weight Restricted Bridges
Several bridges in Chelan County are under weight restrictions at this time. For these bridges, the gross weight for vehicles must not exceed the limits set forth by the laws of the State of Washington. It is unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to drive upon these bridges when the gross load limit exceeds the weight in tons as set forth for these bridges. Resolution 2013-20 lists these bridges and their current load restrictions.
SAFETY REMINDER: For the safety of emergency responders and the traveling public, Chelan County reminds motorists to stay away from restricted areas.
