Subbasin PlanningThe Chelan County Natural Resource Department is involved in a regional fish and wildlife planning effort through the Upper Columbia Salmon Recovery Board. The County is a partner with Okanogan County, Douglas County, the Colville Confederated Tribes and the Yakama Nation. Six fish and wildlife plans (also known as "subbasin plans") have been developed for the following "subbasins" (commonly known as watersheds): Wenatchee, Entiat, Lake Chelan, Methow, Okanogan, and the mainstream Columbia River. Subbasin plans were submitted to the Northwest Power Planning Council in May 2004. Final Subbasin Plans
