Stream Flow MonitoringEnhanced Stream Flow Monitoring ProjectThe Chelan County Natural Resource Dept. and the Cascadia Conservation District, in conjunction with the Washington Department of Ecology's Stream Hydrology Unit (SHU) , have installed 17 continuous recording and 12 manual stage height stream flow gages throughout the Wenatchee and Entiat watersheds. The gauges were installed in September 2002 with additional funding from Bonneville Power Administration. The gauges will provide baseline data on the amount of surface water flowing in the rivers and streams of the Wenatchee and Entiat watersheds. The Chelan County Natural Resource Dept. and the Washington State Department of Ecology will operate and maintain the gauges throughout the Wenatchee watershed. For more information on the Wenatchee watershed gauges, please contact Lee Duncan or phone 509-667-6640.
