District Court Probation, under the jurisdiction of two District Court judges, provides community probation services primarily to adult offenders.

We supervise cases involving felony reductions, juvenile declines, gross misdemeanors, such as domestic violence assault, and serious traffic violations involving driving under the influence, and other misdemeanors. We also provide supervision for Deferred Prosecution, stipulated Orders of Continuance and have a specialized caseload for mentally ill offenders. This department also provides sentencing investigations, community service/work crew and restitution monitoring, as well as behavioral counseling and referral brokerage to the offenders.
