A choice of Chelan County benefits are available.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school or equivalent plus two years clerical and computer experience, preferably in a court or legal office, or any combination of education and experience which provides the following knowledge and skills: knowledge of the operation of the court and case processing activity; knowledge of office practices; ability to type at least 45 words per minute, ability to work independently in a high-pressure, culturally diverse work environment; ability to make responsible decisions in accordance with laws, court policies and procedures; ability to express ideas clearly and concisely, orally and in writing; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, public officials and the general public; and skill in operating standard office machines and equipment, including computers. Fluent bi-lingual English / Spanish ability will be given consideration. This is a seasonal, non-exempt (overtime eligible) position. Salary: $11.50/hour. Summary: This is a 6-month temporary Agricultural Inspect I position that consists of full-time work between the months of April through September 2014. Department Mission: To eradicate infested fruit trees that threaten commercial orchards and work with the public to keep back yard fruit trees free from pest infestations. Chelan County Juvenile Center is looking for a Part-Time Relief Worker. This is an on-call, hourly position that averages 20 hours per week. Duties include providing for the care, safety, and security of incarcerated juveniles. Observing and documenting youths daily behavior, as well as attending to the physical and emotional needs of youth; monitoring free time; supervise and control youth; provide security for your, staff, and the facility; perform searches; room checks, and head counts; perform janitorial duties; complete meal preparation, kitchen duties, and serve meals.
