Public Works - Equipment Operator I (Truck Driver) – Wenatchee District

The Chelan County Public Works Department is seeking applicants for an Equipment Operator I (Truck Driver) for the Wenatchee District.  The duties include performing manual labor, driving truck and/or operating light and heavy equipment, and snow plowing.  The starting salary is T052 Step 1 $2,831.62 to Step 4 $3,258.27 per month depending on experience. This position requires a Washington State Driver’s License, Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsements and prefer to have a current First Aid/CPR card and flagging card. Juvenile Detention Part-Time Relief Worker

Chelan County Juvenile Center is looking for a Part-Time Relief Worker. This is an on-call, hourly position that averages 20 hours per week. Duties include providing for the care, safety, and security of incarcerated juveniles. Observing and documenting youths daily behavior, as well as attending to the physical and emotional needs of youth; monitoring free time; supervise and control youth; provide security for your, staff, and the facility; perform searches; room checks, and head counts; perform janitorial duties; complete meal preparation, kitchen duties, and serve meals. Entry Level Field Deputy

Written and physical ability testing for entry level field deputy is done on a continuous basis through Public Safety Testing, go to www.publicsafetytesting.com for testing schedule. After completing the written and physical ability test with Public Safety Testing entry level applicants must complete the Civil Service Application prior to being eligible for oral boards.
