Temporary Parking Privileges
Temporary disabled parking privileges are good for up to 6 months. It requires an application signed by both you and your doctor. When the temporary permit expires you will have to reapply in order to continue with this privilege. Applications are available at some doctor's office, any licensing office or online from the Department of Licensing Forms Site .
Permanent Parking Privileges
To obtain permanent disabled parking privileges an application is required that has been signed by both your doctor and yourself. The privilege must be renewed every five years by filing a new application.
You may have the choice of hanging placards or license plates for your vehicle. In order to obtain the license plates your name must on the title of the vehicle and there is a charge of $10.00. Applications are available at some doctor's offices, any licensing office or online from the Department of Licensing Forms Site .
